Who is the CSChE?
The Canadian Society for
Chemical Engineering (CSChE) is the national organization representing
the field of chemical engineering and the interests of individual chemical
engineers. The CSChE has approximately 1100 members from industry,
academia, and government. By becoming a member of the CSChE you build
life-long friendships and career networking contacts within academia,
industry, government, and with your fellow students.
CSChE Undergraduate Student Membership
Undergraduate students can become members of the
CSChE for the student price of $26.50. Students pay a $26.50 membership fee up to
the end of the year that they graduate. The following January the new
graduate will pay half of the regular fee for CSChE membership.
What are the benefits of becoming a member?
• You receive a 1 year subscription to the Canadian Chemical News (ACCN)
• You are eligible for a travel subsidy to the 56th Canadian Chemical
Engineering Conference in Sherbrooke, Quebec on October 15-18, 2006
• Get discounts on publications such as Perry’s Handbook for
Chemical Engineering (30% discount), The Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering Progress
• Win awards and scholarships
• Obtain assistance for your job search. Paid student members may
register at no charge with the CSChE’s Employment service. A directory of companies
is also available from the CSChE’s Head Office. CSChE employment
sessions at conferences provide an opportunity to final year students to
develop their job search skills.

home, auto, medical/dental), telephone discounts, FIDO discounts, and RRSP
