~   BIOGRAPHY   ~

Dr. Mohareb received his doctoral degree from the University of Alberta in 1995. For the following four years, he has done consulting work for major oil, pipeline and Petro-chemical companies in Canada, the USA and Norway. During 2000-2004, he worked in the department of civil engineering at the University of Ottawa as an Assistant Professor. He became an Associate Professor in 2004. His research interests include the development of interaction relations for steel sections, full-scale testing of steel pipes under combined loads, development of finite element formulations for the analysis of steel members, and lateral stability of steel frames.
